I actually forgot to tune into the SOTU the other night until it was 3/4 over (hey, it was a long day), and ended up seeing more of the rebuttal than the speech itself. Depressing. I heard libs clamoring for Dean afterwards. I don't think so! We don't need a pendulum swing from soporific to manic overdrive. But how about someone articulate who can sound passionate but not rabid and fool us into thinking their lines weren't written three days before Bush delivered his. Where's Hillary when you need her? Obama?

Well, I for one do not own a TV. I find c-span online an especially good resource for watching that sort of thing.
Just a suggestion, should you find the need to listen to bad partisan hackery, I mean, rhetoric.
