Be glad you're not in Nepal. Unless, of course, you're in Nepal.

The NYT reports: Professing himself a champion of multiparty democracy, King Gyanendra announced on state-run television today that he had sacked the country's multiparty government, including the same prime minister he had dismissed in October 2002, then later reinstated.

Nothing like announcing on state-run television that you've sacked the government. I suppose it's not the sort of thing one would announce on the Daily Show...
