NOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

My local-ish source for Health Department-condemned but best-in-the-city croissants is about to close. I guess Financier's not that bad...

Well, at least the chef, "with an eye on the economy", is introducing a $36 lunch at his main restaurant. You should just go there instead!

what about patisserie claude? i like their croissants...

I do like Claude, but not so much the croissants as the napoleons... But the problem with it is that it's a subway ride away from Battery Park City. Bouley was (kind of) within walking distance. Maybe the answer's just to have pastries during the week, when I'm on campus...
