Look what just happened!
It's been a busy week! More photos to come, but here's one that gets the point across.
We still need to figure out celebrations with NY friends and Belgians, as well as the apparently complicated process of turning a maiden name into a middle name, but official and unofficial-but-delicious celebrations have happened with Belgian and American family in New York. That man in the photo, he's my husband!

Mazel tov!
Yay! Will you come back to school now?
Congratulations!
Congratulations!
MOST IMPORTANTLY, WHERE ARE YOU GOING TO REGISTER?!
Congratulations!
Congrats!
Congratulations to Jo and best wishes to you!
Regarding the name-change, isn't it weird that they'll let you change your last name just by putting it on the marriage license, but you can't change your middle name at the same time? Still, it's probably more urgent that you notify Social Security of the last name change so they don't think NYU is being defrauded.
Felicitations!
Thanks all!
Whitney,
I'm in Paris for the semester, back for a bit, then going back there, then coming back here. I'm still "at school," I promise, even if this past week was not my most productive.
PG,
For a couple reasons (travel already booked, desire to add middle name) I can't notify anyone just yet, but I'm on the case! (I may just have an unofficial new middle name that common law accepts, but this is what I'm still sorting out.)
ah voilà après l'affaire DSK une très bonne nouvelle ! Félicitations / Mazel tov et bravo d'avoir déniché *la* robe et les chaussures... ça ne fait pas du tout bridezilla.
Congrats! And you look lovely ...
Oh Phoebe - it's okay! Do NOT let anyone ask you about your productivity this week. Enjoy!
Congratulations! What a handsome pair you are.
Best wishes, Phoebe and Jo. Your mother has sent me photos. What a beautful day and happy couple. Love, JM
P.S. Can't wait to see more photos and puppy news to come.
Mazels!
