From blob to edible!

Not promising, and very much stuck to Saran Wrap.

Browned on top! Or would have been if I'd been five minutes more patient.

One knife for jam, one for Nutella!

Not putting any bakeries out of business any time soon, but the rolls were rather tasty, considering the amount of straying from the recipe necessary to achieve what I imagined to be the consistency of bread dough.

Is this the NYT 24 hour bread?

My mother just asked me the same thing, so I had to look up what that is. I wish I'd made the 24-hour bread, as this (a loose interpretation of Bittman's dinner rolls from "How to Cook Everything") ended up taking many hours and, due to a lack of food processor and my lack of understanding of how yeast works, involved having to throw out dough #1 before starting on the one pictured above.
