'My townhouse in Manhattan is too big, so big that I needed to get an espresso machine for each floor.'
I challenge all to come up with a problem that better fits the definition than the one presented in "Town House Living: The Untold Story," in this week's NYT Real Estate section.
Do you think the people of the Times' Real Estate section get a kick out of their own stories? Sometimes I think so, other times I'm not so sure. I'd copy and paste some quotes for giggles, but there are just too many!
ReplyDeleteI think this story was meant to be amusing, in the 'it's a hard life' model.
ReplyDeleteI think generally, when the people quoted in NYT stories sound vacuous, oblivious, or borderline retarded, it is because the reporter thinks they are, and selects the best quotes to illustrate that.
